I am a freelance graphic designer working at the base of the Sierra Nevadas, surrounded by the high desert beauty of Reno, Nevada.  With a degree in Journalism/Advertising and 10 years experience working for clients in Northern Nevada I bring a blend of creative talent and advertising know how to all my projects.  Good design is not enough, knowing how to craft an effective offer in print or how to lead a client to take action on a website is critical.  Without action, graphic design is just art.

About me

Hi, I’m Brandon Jared. I’m a geek at heart and a designer by trade.  I’ve been designing and advertising for businesses in Northern Nevada and beyond for over 10 years. My professional experience includes time in marketing, print & freelance design.  I have a BA in Journalism/Advertising from the University of Nevada Reno, and also studied Digital Media & Art.

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time exploring Reno & Lake Tahoe with my wife Heidi, and son Evan, photographing a beautiful landscape, taking in a Nevada football/basketball game, or partaking in the pursuit of hoppyness with good food and an IPA in hand.

I also serve on the Board of Directors of Step 1, Inc., a local non-profit specializing in substance abuse treatment & supportive services for men struggling with addiction. My passion for this field comes from spending years as a substance abuse counselor in my early 20′s.
